Couldn’t sleep last night. I ended up watching Stolen Summer, the first result of Project Greenlight (HBO) - the pet project of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck which takes one independent movie writer/director and documents the process of creating a film and then produces the film through Miramax. Stolen Summer follows one summer as a Catholic boy tries to convert his young Jewish friend so that he can get into heaven. The ‘quest’ of these two young boys raises several theological questions. Since it’s an independent film it may be difficult to find - but if you do its worth it.
