One of my students came into my office today (he is one third of a leaders bible study I “lead” each week) asking something I have never been asked before. We are wrapping up a series on prayer next week. He wants us to do a piece of abstract art together (note: none of us = artist, I can’t draw stick people or color in the lines). Not just to do art, but as a response - to what we have been challeged by, or a scripture, or the like. Then we will take this one piece of largish art (yes it will be “art”) and cut it into 3 pieces - one for each of us. It will be time to respond to the message and heart of God in a way that we rarely (or never do).
