Getting ready to leave for the retreat - my body is revolting and ready to puke. So I thought I’d leave you with something more positive.
Here is part of morning TAWG (time alone with God) for Sunday for the retreat out of Colossians 1. The journal breaks down the verses into the statements about Christ and has the students pause and unpack each one. To reflect on the magnitude of what they are saying.
The visible image of the invisible God (15)
The first born of all creation (15)
For in him all things in heaven & on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers(16)
All things have been created through him and for him (16)
He himself is before all things (17)
In him all things hold together (17)
He is the head of the body, the church (18)
The first born from the death (18)
For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell (19)
Through him God was please to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth on in heaven, by making peace through the blood of the cross. (20)
